Undergraduate Scholarships

University of Colorado Cohagen-Platts Memorial Scholarship
  • Award: up to $3,000
  • Application: due February 15th (see MyCUInfo)
  • Financial need, awarded to student in RE Certificate program. Well-rounded student who has demonstrated leadership through extracurricular/volunteer activities and a minimum GPA of 2.5.

  • University of Colorado ICSC Michael P.Kercheval Undergraduate Real Estate Award
  • Award: $2,000
  • Application: Mid November, real estate certificate students will be notified by ICSC
  • The International Council of Shopping Center Foundation established this award to recognize and provide financial assistance to students who are interested in pursuing retail real estate as a career. The award includes a $2,000 scholarship to be used toward tuition and/or related expenses, plus an ICSC student membership.

  • Award: $5,000

  • Named in honor of Gina Love, Esq., who helped create ICSC's annual Diversity Reception, this award is for an undergraduate who is interested in a career in retail real estate. The scholarship will provide tuition assistance to a junior or senior university student who belongs to an underrepresented minority group.

  • NAIOP is committed to the next generation of CRE leadership and increasing diversity in commercial real estate. We are proud to continue our scholarship program for students pursuing a degree which will lead to a career in the commercial real estate industry. Preference will be given to students who have been traditionally under-represented in the commercial real estate field. Applicants must be a NAIOP University member in good standing; be a full-time undergraduate student of junior or senior standing or enrolled in an applicable graduate program during the 2017-2018 academic calendar year; and have a minimum 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale).

  • Pension Real Estate Association Scholarship Program
  • Award: $500 - $5,000

  • In keeping with our educational mission, the Pension Real Estate Association awards scholarships on an annual basis to promising students studying real estate at the undergraduate and graduate levels. These scholarships are awarded through our own scholarship program and financial need will be considered in determining the amount of each award. Potential recipients who demonstrate no need will be eligible to receive the minimum award. PREA also partners with the Robert A. Toigo Foundation to grant a PREA/Toigo scholarship which is awarded to minority and women students.

  • Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Mildred C. Hanson, Memorial Scholarship Award
  • Award: $4,000
  • Application: July 31, 2017
  • The Mildred C.(Millie) Hanson,SIOR Memorial Fund, which was established to honor and support women in commercial real estate, will grant a $4,000 scholarship to an outstanding junior or senior undergraduate female student enrolled in an accredited real estate program at a college or university in the United States or Canada.

  • Land Institute Etkin Johnson Student Scholarship Program (Colorado students only)
  • Award: Complimentary membership to ULI Colorado
  • Application: Closes September 22, 2017
  • The ULI Colorado Student Scholarship Program provides 10 selected student applicants with a one year ULI membership and engages the students in various leadership opportunities throughout the course of their membership year. From September 2017 through May 2018 the participants will attend ULI Colorado events, committees, become volunteers, shadow developers and network with ULI members to enhance their scholastic endeavors and learn the benefits of ULI membership.
