    The CU Real Estate Center and its committee of council volunteers are proud to have hosted a fabulous event again this year. Nearly 500 registrants attended the 17th Annual Real Estate Forum to hear about "Industrial Capital Interest increasing in Denver"; "What is happening in For Sale Residential Real Estate"; and "What is happening in the Hospitality Sector".

    Jim Creighton of Prologis was recognized as the 2014 Koelbel Alumni Award Recipient in recognition of his time, spirit, and financial support of the Real Estate Center.

    Randy Nichols, The Nichols Partnership was named the 2014 Leadership Award Recipient in recognition of his involvment, support and participation in the CU Real Estate Council, the CU Real Estate Board of Directors and the CU Real Estate Board of Governors as well as the CU Real Estate Foundation Board.

    Gunnar Branson, CEO of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM) started the morning off with a bang, presenting "Moore's Law of Real Estate" and attendees were sent off very happy following a side-by-side conversation with Real Estate Mogul Sam Zell of Equity Group Investments and Jeff DeBoer of the Real Estate Roundtable.
